Three members of the Philippines Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Team advance to the finals in the 11th Asian Senior Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The SEA Games gold medalist trio of Carlos Yulo, Ivan Cruz and Miguel Besana secured their spots in the Finals after yesterday’s qualifications. Yulo placed first in vault and floor exercise, fourth in both still rings and parallel bars while also placing seventh in the horizontal bar securing a spot in the finals on all 5 events.
Meanwhile, Ivan Cruz finished 3rd in the floor exercise joining Yulo in the finals on May 18th. Miguel Besana placed 3rd in vault to secure a slot in the finals on May 19th.
Yulo already bagged the gold medal in the Men’s Individual All-Around after placing 1st with a total final score of 85.298 as posted on Asian Gymnastics Union website.
