The Philippines Golden Boy Carlos Edriel Yulo secures his first gold medal in Individual All-Around Event in the ongoing Asian Men’s Artistic Gymnastics in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on Thursday.
Yulo registered a total score of 84.931 on all apparatus besting Karimi Milad of Kazakhstan, 84.632 points and Azimov Andulla of Uzbekistan, 82.431 points who settled for silver and bronze respectively.
Yulo’s all-around performance was highlighted by an impressive performance in the floor exercise garnering 15.233 points.
Meanwhile, China grabbed the gold in the Men’s Team All-Around, while Uzbekistan and South Korea won the silver and bronze medals respectively.
Day 2 of action continues today at the Universal Sports Palace in Tashkent with the Junior’s Qualification where Karl Eldrew Yulo, younger brother of Caloy is set to participate.
